The festival opens in Brandon with Vivaldi's wild La Folia variations, the first movements of the Ravel and Moeran piano trios side by side, Moeran's rarely heard Second String Quartet, Hannah Ishizaki's hovering, juddering Float/shake, and Tchaikovsky's glorious Souvenir de Florence to finish.
