OPTP
OPTP is the village takeaway, on Tailors Row in the middle of Castlegregory, a short walk from the SPAR and the pubs. It is a chipper, and a busy one: it carries several hundred reviews, which is a great many for a village this size, and the chips are what people mention.
The menu spreads wider than fish and chips. Listings consistently give burgers, chicken, kebabs and curries alongside, including tikka masala, and pizza. It trades in the evening rather than at lunchtime, which fits the trade coming off the beach and out of the pubs. There is a collection counter and no seating.
